Dear Parents and Guests,

Since 1937, Holy Cross School has maintained the rich tradition of providing students with a Christ-centered education focused on academic excellence, values and service.  We set high expectations for all students and provide opportunities for them to grow cognitively, socially and spiritually.  We educate the whole child and prepare them to be leaders in the community. 

Holy Cross School educates students Preschool through 8^th grade.  Our enrollment has remained steady with over 340 students.  We provide a safe, positive and nurturing environment for our students and small class sizes to accommodate for the developmental needs of all learners.

Not only do we adhere to the curriculum standards set forth by the Archdiocese of Omaha, but we have enhanced our curriculum by providing a strong phonics based approach to reading for students in grades K-3 and a Spanish curriculum for students in grades 7 & 8. We also use the Discipline With Purpose program in all grades.  This program is the foundation for teaching our students to be self-disciplined, rather than disciplined, and people of good character.  We boast a strong fine arts program and our students participate in plays, music programs and art contests.  Priests visit the classrooms regularly and work in conjunction with the teachers to provide a strong religion curriculum. Students attend Mass weekly and are given opportunities to go out into the community to practice their faith and serve others.

The Holy Cross community is like none other.  The people are kind, generous and truly care about one another.  Strong parental support and a very generous parish community provide us the tools necessary to offer a quality education to all students.  Parents are encouraged to take an active role in the educational process and are given many opportunities to volunteer and be a part of the great things that are happening at Holy Cross School.
